Awning Care: The best way to protect your Awning is to keep it clean. Even though sunbrella fabric is mildew resistent, mildew can go on accumulated dirt or foreign materials such as bird droppings that remain on top.

° Washing your awning with a mild cleanser, such as Ivory Liquid when it has accumulated dirt is the best for it.

° If you just want to refresh the fabric, hose it off once a month on a sunny day and leave it out to dry. You do not have to powerwash your awning because it has a coating on it that protects it from water penetration and powerwashing can strip it off. The same goes for scrubbing. 

° Gently operate your awning when raising, lowering, opening or closing. If you are meeting with any resistance, please give the service department a call.

°The awning hardware is made from double powder-coated aluminum, so it will not rust.
